Program preview 2025

The starting point for our 2025 program is the law: Through our hands-on activities, an exhibition, workshops, and training sessions in Karlsruhe and Leipzig—as well as throughout Germany and online—we bring the law to life in a variety of ways.

Workshops & Discussions on „The Wave“

On February 14, 2025, the stage adaptation of „The Wave“ will premiere at the Junges Staatstheater Karlsruhe. The Forum Recht Foundation is participating in the educational program through joint workshops and post-performance discussions.

Short Films About the Basic Law

As part of the Bavarian Children’s & Youth Film Festival, a workshop led by the Forum Recht Foundation was held, inviting nearly 80 teenagers and young adults to creatively explore articles of the Basic Law in the form of short films.

Ten Reels on the Basic Law

Where and how do we encounter fundamental rights in our daily lives? Our "Reel" series features ten court rulings on the topic and brings various fundamental rights to life—using examples such as beer showers at soccer stadiums or song lyrics in campaign ads.

Theme days on the prison system

The kick-off events for the new "Theme Days" training program offered exciting insights into the prison system in Bruchsal and Düsseldorf on November 29 and December 6, 2024.

Meet & Greet with Cord Brügmann

Meetings with personalities from the Karlsruhe legal and cultural scene shortly after work as well as an open atmosphere for questions and exchange were offered at the first after-work event of the Stiftung Forum Recht on Thursday, November 21.

Board of Trustees met in Berlin

On October 18, the Board of Trustees of the Stiftung Forum Recht met for its constituent session at the German Bundestag in Berlin. Bettina Limperg, President of the Federal Court of Justice, was confirmed in her office as Chair of the Board of Trustees. Dr. Günter Krings will act as her deputy.

New training program

From November 2024, the Stiftung Forum Recht will be introducing a new training format for professionals. The one-day programmes are aimed specifically at multipliers from the fields of education, journalism and social work.
