Click Your Way to Your Rights! – A Conversation with Alisha Andert About Digital Access to the Law

What is legal tech, who can use it, and how will digital technologies change access to the legal system? As part of the „Let’s Talk About Law“ series, the Forum Recht Foundation invites you to a discussion on the use of digital applications for legal services on June 11, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Our guest is Alisha Andert, an attorney and the founder and chairwoman of the board of the Legal Tech Verband Deutschland e.V.

Leipzig. Whether it's a flight cancellation, a train delay, or data theft—for all these situations, there are online portals, chatbots, or other digital tools that help individuals assert their rights. These applications are known as Legal Tech In summary. „Legal tech refers to the digitization and modernization of the legal sector. This term encompasses entirely new, consumer-friendly digital legal services, as well as AI tools designed to speed up court proceedings and software used by law firms and legal departments to work more efficiently,“ explains Alisha Andert, Chairwoman of the Board of the Legal Tech Verband Deutschland e.V.

On Wednesday, June 11, Alisha Andert is at „Let’s Talk About Law“ visiting the Forum Recht Foundation and speaking with Marie-Elisabeth Miersch on the opportunities and implications of legal tech. As a co-founder of „This is Legal Design,“ Andert works with companies to communicate legal information in an accessible way so that customers can understand and assert their rights. Drawing on this expertise, she will highlight exciting aspects for both consumers and businesses in her discussion with Miersch.

The Conversation „Click Your Way to Your Rights! Digital Access to the Law’ will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Stiftung Forum Recht in Leipzig (Universitätsstraße). Admission is free. The foundation cordially invites the audience to participate in the discussion by asking questions.
