Applies to the website and social media offerings of the Forum Recht Foundation
We want to know what matters to you when it comes to the topics of law and the rule of law. After all, democracy and the rule of law thrive on discussion. Our social media channels provide information about our projects, public events, and general topics related to law and the rule of law. We also look forward to hearing your opinions, receiving your feedback, and engaging in dialogue with you.
To ensure that the exchange is a success for everyone, we ask that you follow these guidelines:
- Your statements should be clear, factual, and clearly identifiable as your own opinions.
- It must be clear to others which sources and examples you are referring to.
- Please refrain from personal attacks, insults, or highly emotional language!
We look forward to your contributions. We ask that you maintain a respectful, constructive, and dialogue-oriented tone. We reserve the right to delete comments, posts, and links that do not comply with these guidelines, violate applicable law, and/or do not contribute to an objective, topic-focused debate.
These include, in particular:
- Threats and/or Stalking
- Disclosure of Third-Party Personal Data
- Statements that are personally offensive, discriminate against others, or belittle them, particularly with regard to (perceived) religious background, gender, nationality, or origin, as well as physical appearance, sexual orientation, or disabilities
- „Spam messages“—by this we mean comments that are off-topic or primarily promotional in nature
Guidelines for Communication on Social Media
Social media platforms are public and accessible to everyone. The opinions, content, and media you share are also visible to third parties and may be archived and used by them even without your consent. Therefore, be careful not to make private information public—such as bank details, home addresses, dates of birth, etc.—that third parties could misuse.
Since not only the foundation but also social media platforms are constantly evolving, we would like to point out that this netiquette is also reviewed regularly and updated as needed.
