The Forum Recht Foundation’s first study tour on the topic of „The Rule of Law in Germany“ took place from October 19 to 25, 2025. The central theme of the tour was the rule of law in all its dimensions—from the past to the present.

The Forum Recht Foundation's digital engagement platform is now online

The Forum Recht Foundation launches its new participation platform -
a digital offering that focuses on experiences with the law and the rule of law in everyday life and promotes dialog about them. The aim of the platform is to make different perspectives visible and to invite participation in the services offered by the Stiftung Forum Recht.

What does the law have to do with everyday life? Whether at school, at work, in our homes, during elections, or online—the law shapes our daily lives. Many decisions that affect us are based on rules and laws. The digital participation platform of the Forum Recht Foundation invites you to join the conversation about your experiences with the law and the rule of law.

Juveniles in Court: The Purpose and Limits of Punishment

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., the Forum Recht Foundation invites you to a discussion titled „Youth in Court: The Purpose and Limits of Punishment“ as part of the „Let’s Talk About Law“ series in Karlsruhe. The mobile pop-up exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ by the Forum Recht Foundation is making stops in Dresden and Pirna as part of its tour through Germany. It invites visitors to discover the role of law in everyday life in a playful and interactive way—by participating, reflecting, and discussing.

Who How What is Family? Living together between law and reality

The Stiftung Forum Recht, in cooperation with the Deutscher Juristinnenbund e. V. (djb), invites you to another edition of the discussion series "Let's Talk About Law" at its Leipzig location on Wednesday, October 8, starting at 7:00 pm. The guests will be family law experts Caroline Greb (lawyer for family law, Hamburg), Laura Kleiner, Maître en droit, LL.M. (lawyer for family and inheritance law, Berlin) and Dr. Susanna Roßbach (Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, Hamburg).
