About the Stiftung Forum recht

Die Stiftung Forum Recht wurde 2019 als bundesunmittelbare Stiftung öffentlichen Rechts durch ein Gesetz des Deutschen Bundestages mit Sitz in Karlsruhe und einem weiteren Standort in Leipzig gegründet. Sie gestaltet vielfältige analoge und digitale Ausstellungs-, Veranstaltungs- und Bildungsformate und schafft Räume, in denen Menschen über ihre Erfahrungen mit dem Recht und dem Rechtsstaat sprechen: in Karlsruhe, Leipzig, mobil in ganz Deutschland und digital. Mit Ausstellungen, Workshops und einem Live-Podcast bietet die Stiftung innovative Zugänge zu den Themen Recht und Rechtsstaat.

Since July 2024, the lawyer and historian Dr. Cord Brügmann has been Director of the Stiftung Forum Recht. Bettina Limperg, President of the Federal Court of Justice, heads the Trustees, while Prof. Dr. Susanne Baer, former judge of the Federal Constitutional Court, chairs the Foundation Advisory Board.
