"In good shape?" Live podcast event on the future of the Basic Law enters the next round
Join-in talks in the podcast studio at the Forum Recht Foundation
On September 04 and 05 load the Podcast radio detektor.fm and the Forum Law Foundation in Leipzig to second round of live podcast events with several interactive conversations. Podcast host Rabea Schloz speaks this time with her guests from politics, justice and society under the title "35 Years of Peaceful Revolution: Was a historic opportunity to create a common constitution missed?" on the accession process 35 years ago and looks ahead to the next 75 years of the Basic Law.
Podcast Live
The audience is invited to take part in the discussions: With questions, impressions - but also through interactive elements such as surveys.
Our event room in Leipzig's city center is transformed into a smart recording studio: atmospheric lighting, a stage and an exclusive area for our audience right in front of it. Passers-by can get a glimpse through our window front, but it's even better if you take a seat directly in the foundation studio and follow the discussions. If you like, you can join in - the conversations can then continue in a relaxed atmosphere after the recordings.

The podcast
This year, the Basic Law turns 75 and celebrates its 35th anniversary in a reunified Germany. Our live podcast "In good shape? The Basic Law for tomorrow" explores the question: What is the state of the Basic Law and its status in German society? What threatens it from outside, what from within - from the consequences of climate change to infiltration by right-wing extremists. How can it be better protected, but also shaped? And what role do the rule of law and the Basic Law actually play in our everyday lives? Since May 8, 2024, we have been publishing a total of ten episodes every two weeks, which we develop together with the podcast radio station detektor.fm.
The episodes bundle the results of the discussions thematically and are thus a new, independent experience for the participants and first-time listeners. You can find all episodes on our Website and wherever podcasts are available.
