Democracy needs the rule of law and the rule of law needs democracy

Democracy thrives on diversity and commitment! On September 15 all eyes around the world are on democracy. The rule of law needs democracy and democracy needs the rule of law. The Democracy Day offers the opportunity to participate in discussions, get to know exciting local actors and experience democracy. This is reason enough to recommend the programs of diverse civil society actors.  

In Karlsruhe, Triangle Open Space and the Karlsruhe Youth Committee are organizing a varied programme - from 2 p.m. it goes on the Crown square go. We will be there live in Karlsruhe - come and visit us and get to know us and other facilities in Karlsruhe.  

To 7 p.m. is the topic of the panel discussion in the Triangel Open Space "Democracy - paths, errors, realities" continue. At the TRIALOG of the Triangle Open Spaces and Youth Committee Karlsruhe Prof. Renate Dürr (lecturer in logic at KIT), Franziska Grethe (advisor to the board of directors of the Stiftung Forum Recht), Uwe Lübbermann (co-founder and collectivist of the PREMIUM Kollektiv), Prof. Dr. Melanie Volkamer (head of the SECUSO research group at KIT) and Dr. phil. Michael Schmidt-Salomon (co-founder and board spokesman of the Giordano Bruno Foundation). Come along and join the discussion! All information and the complete program can be found here.

Our Leipzig team also recommends the following for the upcoming Saturday, September 17a special event: "Listening to each other" - that's what the Program of the Gewandhaus Orchestra and the Saxon State Agency for Civic Education (SLpB) in the Leipzig city center.
