The Forum Recht Foundation Opens Its First In-House Exhibition, „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life,“ at Karlsruhe Central Station

The Forum Recht Foundation invites you on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. to the opening of the pop-up exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life.“ The opening in the entrance hall of Karlsruhe Central Station also marks the start of the exhibition’s journey across Germany. In bustling locations throughout many cities, the exhibition brings the law to life and invites visitors to participate.

Karlsruhe. As part of the exhibition's opening program, the first speakers will be Dr Cord Brügmann, Director of the Forum Recht Foundation, Dr. Frank Mentrup, Mayor of the City of Karlsruhe, as well as Martin Büchle, Head of Station Management in Karlsruhe, will deliver a welcome address. Following that, Charlotte Großmann, the exhibition's project manager, incorporated this into the exhibition concept. She provides a preview of the accompanying program of events Dr. Anna Nübling, Director of the Program and Events Division at the Forum Recht Foundation, and Ulrich Bunk, Vice President of the Karlsruhe Regional Court.

After Karlsruhe, known as the „Residence of Law,“ the pop-up exhibition will move on in August and will be on display at Heidelberg Central Station. Numerous other train stations are also being planned as exhibition venues. The mobile exhibition elements will also be on display in town squares and shopping centers, such as in Leipzig, Mönchengladbach, and Pirna.

With its exhibition on law in everyday life, the Forum Recht Foundation is bringing one of its core themes into the public sphere: „We want to hear about people’s experiences with the law in Germany. Where has the law helped them—and where has it been a hindrance? That’s why we’re inviting visitors to record a short video with their smartphones and become part of the exhibition,“ says Charlotte Großmann, emphasizing the exhibition’s dialogic nature. „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ evolves with each new venue and brings to light a wide variety of perspectives on the law.

The Pop-Up Exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ the Forum Recht Foundation, in cooperation with Mein_Einkaufsbahnhof, is from July 1 to August 3 2025 Open around the clock in the left entrance hall of Karlsruhe Central Station and freely accessible to anyone interested. Admission to the Exhibition Opening is just as free.
