Federal Forum on Education in Law and the Rule of Law: Forum Recht Foundation Launches Call for Contributions

 

Leipzig. Under the motto „Connecting Perspectives. Sharing Knowledge.“ takes place on November 27 and 28, 2026 the first Federal Forum on Education in Law and the Rule of Law organized by the Forum Recht Foundation in Leipzig. The conference is aimed at stakeholders from all areas of the administration of justice, education, social work, academia, journalism, and politics.

The Forum Recht Foundation is calling on the public to actively participate in shaping the first Federal Forum on Legal Education and the Rule of Law, effective immediately. With an open Call for Contributions The foundation invites stakeholders from the fields of education and law, theory and practice, journalism and social work, as well as other interested parties, to help shape the conference program with their own contributions.

The focus is on the transdisciplinary exchange from experiences and the Networking all those committed to promoting an understanding of the law and the rule of law. With this conference, the Forum Recht Foundation offers a platform for jointly shaping the field of legal education and building a sustainable network—with the goal of making the law more understandable and thereby strengthening trust in the law and the rule of law.

The Call for Contributions is an invitation to actively help shape the program. We are seeking a wide variety of contributions—ranging from short workshops and hands-on exercises to presentations and reports on innovative and participatory formats. The contributions will be grouped into two workshop sessions on the second day of the conference and offer the opportunity to present best-practice examples and introduce your own topics. Detailed information and ideas for possible topics can be found in the Call for Contributions available on the Federal Forum's website.

Submissions may be sent by email until June 28, 2026, to bundesforum@stiftung-forum-recht.de must be submitted.
