Workshop: „Interactive Body Journey—What the Law Has to Do with My Health“
Who owns our bodies, and who decides about our health? Through an interactive journey through the body, we’re bringing key legal questions surrounding the future of health and medicine to the EFFEKTE series organized by the City of Karlsruhe’s Science Office. At various “body stations” in the TRIANGEL Open Space, workshop participants will explore how the law protects health and how it limits and shapes healthcare. In doing so, they will address fundamental questions about self-determination, government regulation, and the limits of responsibility and progress. On our journey from head to blood, it becomes clear just how closely medical progress and legal frameworks are intertwined.
In small groups, visitors explore the exhibits and engage in conversation with experts in law, medicine, and ethics.
The workshop will take place as part of the EFFEKTE Series takes place.
