„Law – The Rules of Everyday Life“: A pop-up exhibition by the Forum Recht Foundation in Freiburg
The mobile pop-up exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ runs from May 27 through June 15, 2026 on display at Europaplatz.

About the Exhibition
„Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ presents complex legal topics in an accessible and interactive way. Where do we encounter the law in our daily lives—and how does it influence our lives? Whether when renting an apartment, at work, on the road, or within the family: Law is everywhere, as the exhibition makes clear, and it explicitly invites visitors to get involved: Using QR codes and a web app, they can record videos with their own smartphones and share personal experiences. In this way, the exhibition grows over time
more. There’s also the opportunity to explore the world of law in a fun way through a quiz and a spinning cube. The mobile exhibition has been touring Germany since July 2025 and can be seen at train stations, shopping centers, schools, and marketplaces—anywhere where the law and everyday life intersect.

Information on the German Lawyers' Conference
The German Lawyers' Day is the nationwide conference of the legal profession, which focuses on professional and legal policy issues and will take place in Freiburg from June 10 to 12. At the German Lawyers’ Conference, the Forum Recht Foundation will be represented by a Status represented. In conjunction with this, the Forum Recht Foundation is organizing several events specifically designed to foster dialogue on law and the rule of law within the city’s community. You can participate free of charge in the Panel Discussion: „Access to Justice: Does Justice Belong to Those Who Can Afford It?“ on June 8, at 7:00 p.m., at the University of Freiburg. In cooperation with the German Bar Association, the event will take place on June 11, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., a legal consultation on social law issues at the Freiburg Social Court.
