On the law: In demand! Open discussion with legal professionals on the pop-up exhibition "Law - the rules of everyday life"
Where do we encounter the law in our daily lives? How does it shape our lives? And who has what kinds of experiences with the law? These are the questions addressed in the interactive Pop-up Exhibition: „Law – The Rules of Everyday Life“, which will be available starting September 12, 2025, on the Kurt-Masur-Platz in Leipzig can be seen. In conjunction with the exhibition, the Forum Recht Foundation invites you to an open discussion titled „Zu Recht: Nachgefragt!“ Participants can attend on Thursday, September 18, Friday, September 26, and Wednesday, October 1, 2025, 5:00–6:00 p.m. each day Talk to a lawyer or a judge, for example, right there at the exhibition about the rules of everyday life.
Friday, September 26, 2025, 5:00–6:00 p.m., featuring, among others, a judge from the Regional Court and a judge from the Local Court (subject to change).
You can also book this program free of charge in the morning for school classes, work groups, or teachers. With this format, we specifically want to reach out to young people to make the topics of law and the rule of law more accessible. Dates are still available for the October 1 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Available for booking for approximately 1–1½ hours. If you’d like to participate in this format with a group, we’d be happy to arrange a time with you individually. A set of cards featuring personal questions, everyday legal issues, and specialized questions about the law and the rule of law makes it easier to start a conversation. You can choose thought-provoking questions from the card box to explore, through group discussion, how the law shapes our daily lives and to discuss perspectives on the rule of law.
Admission is free; no registration is required. In Leipzig, the Forum Recht Foundation is presenting the pop-up exhibition with the support of the City of Leipzig.
