„Truly Urban!“ – Special Event: Short City Tours During the Federal Constitutional Court’s Open House

For the past two years, the Forum Recht Foundation has been offering its popular „Recht stadtlich“ walking tour in Karlsruhe. On the Federal Constitutional Court’s Open House, the foundation is offering two short tours, each lasting about an hour. So if you’ve always wanted to know why the Constitutional Court is located in Karlsruhe, what bees have to do with the Civil Code, or how the law relates to our everyday lives, then stop by.

The tours will begin on Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. in front of the Federal Constitutional Court (Schloßbezirk 3, 76131 Karlsruhe).
Registration is not required.

Service

Accessibility Information: The tour is accessible. The route features lowered curbs for wheelchair users. Participants should be comfortable with a walk of approximately 2.8 km. Please note that we do not offer additional assistance for people with visual or hearing impairments. Headphones are available for about 30 guests, and the tour guide’s voice is amplified with a microphone. You should also expect to encounter numerous sensory stimuli in the urban environment during the tour.
