To mark Europe Day, the foundation is hosting a special edition of „Recht stadtlich!“ in Karlsruhe on Saturday, May 9, at 11:00 a.m., focusing on Europe and European law. During the walking tour, participants will learn who is legally responsible for what in Europe and how European law relates to our everyday lives. More about the European Edition.

Service

Time period: April through October, usually every second Thursday of the month; exception: Saturday, May 9, 2026 (11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.); therefore, there will be no regular tour on Thursday, May 14

Duration: from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. each time

Meeting point: Karlsruhe Tourist Information Office on Marktplatz. Kaiserstrasse 72-74, 76133 Karlsruhe. Please look for an orange umbrella!

Accessibility Information: The tour is accessible. The route features lowered curbs for wheelchair users. Participants should be comfortable with a walk of approximately 2.8 km. Please note that we do not offer additional assistance for people with visual or hearing impairments. Headphones are available for about 30 guests, and the tour guide’s voice is amplified with a microphone. You should also expect to encounter numerous sensory stimuli in the urban environment during the tour.
