„Quite urban!“ A tour of Leipzig

On June 19, 2025, the Forum Recht Foundation is once again inviting the public to join a walking tour through Leipzig on the topic of law and the rule of law. What’s the deal with freedom of assembly? What does the Federal Administrative Court do? And what’s the story behind the „Woyzeck“ case? During the approximately two-hour walk, participants will learn about courts and other places related to the law. They’ll hear stories from Leipzig’s history linked to real-life legal cases that show just how closely the law is tied to the lives of many people.

The city tour organized by the Forum Recht Foundation in Leipzig always takes place on the third Thursday of the month from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The tour is conducted in German. Participants should wear clothing appropriate for the weather. The Forum Recht Foundation will announce any weather-related changes on its website and via its social media channels.

The tour is free of charge. Registration is not required.
