Event Announcement: Democracy Day in Karlsruhe

On September 15, everything in Karlsruhe will revolve around democracy, and we’ll be there: To mark International Democracy Day, Kronenplatz will become a gathering place starting at 2 p.m., featuring art, music, panel discussions, and interactive activities. TRIANGEL Open Space and the Karlsruhe Youth Committee have organized a varied program:    

„Democracy cannot be taken for granted. To keep it alive, we must stand up for democratic values, get involved, and speak out—but we must also be willing to compromise and accept other points of view.“  

We look forward to meeting you in person at the booths on Kronenplatz, together with civil society actors. In addition, all visitors can enjoy art and concerts and discover new perspectives, for example through simulation games or interactive activities.  

Also participating on-site are: intro CAFÉ, jubez, the German-Speaking Muslim Group of Karlsruhe, Amnesty International, the Anti-Discrimination Office of the Karlsruhe City Youth Committee, the Democracy Center, the KIT Institute for Technology Assessment and Systems Analysis, Partnerships for Democracy, the Forum Recht Foundation, the PREMIUM Collective, and the Baden-Württemberg Local Democracy Initiative.
