Open House at the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig

On Saturday, September 7, 2024, the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig will open its doors and offer fascinating insights into its work under the theme „Working for the Rule of Law.“ A guided tour will take visitors through large parts of the courthouse and provide a glimpse into the work of the judges. Areas of the building that are not normally open to the public will also be accessible. For example, visitors can meet the president in his office and take a look at the historic and modern courtrooms, the banquet hall, and the former dining room of the President of the Reich Court. In addition, there will be a family quiz, simulated court proceedings, and various opportunities for discussion, among other activities.

We, too, will be presenting our offerings and programs at an information booth.

Under the theme „Let’s Talk About Case Law,“ we invite you to attend a series of short, moderated discussions: Judges from the Federal Administrative Court will provide insights into particularly extraordinary cases.

• 11:00 a.m.: Resident Parking Fees, Guest: Rosanna Sieveking, Judge on the Federal Administrative Court
• 12:30 p.m.: Civil Service Law, Guest: Dr. Carsten Günther, Judge on the Federal Administrative Court
• 1:45 p.m.: Bans on Associations, Guest: Presiding Judge of the Federal Administrative Court, Prof. Dr. Ingo Kraft
• 3:00 p.m.: The „Cross Decree,“ Guest: Dr. Susanne Rublack, Vice President of the Federal Administrative Court
