Sabine Faller

Head of Virtual Location and Digital Strategy

Sabine Faller has headed the Virtual Location and Digital Strategy Department at the Forum Recht Foundation since 2021. Prior to that, she worked as a research associate at the ZKM | Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe. There, she carried out projects in the fields of media art, digital education, and science communication.
As a speaker, she focuses extensively on cultural policy and digital education through workshops, lectures (including at re:publica), and professional articles and publications. Her many years of experience as an art and media educator, as well as a host and musician, support her in this work and serve as a source of inspiration.

Sabine Faller is a member of the „Education and Discourse“ Advisory Board (Goethe-Institut e.V.) and served as a jury member for the „KULTURLICHTER – German Prize for Cultural Education,“ awarded by the Cultural Foundation of the German States, from 2020 to 2024.

PD Dr. FRIEDER GÜNTHER

Head of Research Coordination and Knowledge Management

Dr. Frieder Günther is a Privatdozent at Humboldt University in Berlin and has headed the Research Coordination and Knowledge Management Department at the Forum Recht Foundation since 2026. His research focuses on the history of law, constitutional history, and administrative history, as well as the history of political ideas and research on courts and government agencies. He has worked and conducted research at the Institute for Contemporary History in Munich and Berlin, the University of California, Davis, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and the Federal President Theodor Heuss House Foundation in Stuttgart. Among other works, he has published studies on the history of West German constitutional theory, the Federal Republic’s foreign representation, and the administrative culture of German interior ministries in the 20th century. In May 2026, his book *Transformation through Law: The Federal Constitutional Court and the Past*, co-authored with Dr. Eva Balz, will also be published.

As a result of his interdisciplinary focus, Dr. Günther is a member of the Working Group on Legal Studies and Contemporary History at the Academy of Sciences and Literature in Mainz, as well as the Association for Constitutional History.

SILKE JANSSEN

Head of Marketing, Communications, and Digital

Since April 2023, Silke Janßen has headed the Marketing, Communications, and Digital Department at the Forum Recht Foundation. Prior to that, she held leadership positions in the areas of press and public relations, as well as marketing and communications, beginning in 2010. Her professional career has included positions at Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design in Halle, the Städel Museum and the Liebieghaus Sculpture Collection in Frankfurt am Main, and the Kestnergesellschaft in Hanover.

From 2003 to 2009, Silke Janßen studied cultural studies, art history, and journalism at the universities of Leipzig and Amsterdam.
Projects she helped develop have received awards including the Grimme Online Award and recognition in the „Let’s Get Digital“ competition organized by the Federal Association of University Communications.

Dorothee Liebing

Press Spokesperson and Director of Press and Public Relations

Since June 2026, Dorothee Liebing has served as press spokesperson for the Forum Recht Foundation and has been responsible for press and public relations. After studying natural sciences at the University of Karlsruhe, she transitioned into journalism. Among other roles, she has worked for the Handelsblatt publishing group, Deutsche Börse, and various media outlets, companies, and associations, both as a journalist and in an advisory capacity in the field of press and public relations. For many years, she has been communicating complex topics in an accessible way and fostering dialogue between experts, the media, and the public.
