Opening Dates for the Leipzig Location

Come to our open house at our Leipzig location: Learn more about our program and what we offer, and check out our new facilities in the heart of Leipzig at the University Road 20 — between Uni-Riesen and Moritzbastei! From May 31 to June 3, 2023, the Forum Recht Foundation invites you to various events at its new location, just a few minutes’ walk from the Federal Administrative Court, the New City Hall, and Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz.

Wednesday, May 31, and Thursday, June 1, 2023: Workshop On the topic of „Taking of evidence underway! Working together to promote the rule of law“with a workshop group that has been invited”

Thursday, June 1, 2023, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.: Book presentation and panel discussion with the author Dr. Jörg Bong, Dr. Anselm Hartinger (Director of the Leipzig Museum of City History) and Prof. Dr. Katharina Beckemper (Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Leipzig) on the topic „The Flame of Freedom: 1848, 1989 – 2023? Germany Between the Rule of Law, Revolution, and Civil Disobedience.“. You can find more information about the book presentation here. Admission is free. Friday, June 2, 2023, 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Saturday, June 3, 2023, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Open House—we invite you to join us for a variety of activities, including discussions, a quiz, and surprises centered on the themes of „law and justice.“.

Admission to all events is free.

About the Forum Law Foundation
Is the law fair? Where do we encounter the law in everyday life? And what does the rule of law have to do with each and every one of us? The Stiftung Forum Recht is working with you to explore the law and the rule of law. Since the end of 2022, you will find the foundation in its interim location in Universitätsstraße until the opening of the new building on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz. It will be a place for exhibitions and events with participatory formats on current topics relating to law and the rule of law. We look forward to seeing you!
