Theme Day on the Correctional System in Halle (Saale)

Workshop for professionals in collaboration with the correctional facility in Halle (Saale)

Designed as one-day, free professional development events, the Forum Recht Foundation’s theme days provide access to complex topics that are often presented in a simplified manner.

To give participants insights into the Correctional System To facilitate this, the Forum Recht Foundation is hosting a training day at the Halle (Saale) Correctional Facility. The day’s program includes a Guided tour of the correctional facility as well as a Lecture by Dr. Lorenz Bode, a prosecutor from Magdeburg and author of the book *Internet Access for Prisoners: Between Rehabilitation and Security*. In addition, the participants will visit the facility located right next to the prison „Red Ox“ Memorial. There, they broaden the perspective from today’s correctional system to the institution’s troubled past in Halle.
