Special Date: "Recht stadtlich! A tour through Karlsruhe"

On 7 November we are offering an additional city tour at 15:00-17:00 as part of "5 years of Schaufenster Karlsruhe: Residenz des Rechts" by Karlsruher Tourismus GmbH. Please note that the tour takes place in German.

What is the Federal Court of Justice actually doing? Why do beehives appear in the German Civil Code? And how does the law affect our everyday life?

We will discuss these and many other questions during our free city tour "Recht stadtlich!". Together, we will explore Karlsruhe's curiosities, learn about major and minor scandals in the fan-shaped city and its courts as well as exciting legal cases. From the most progressive constitution to art in public spaces, "Recht stadtlich!" has it all.

The two-hour city tour is in German. It takes place every second Thursday of the month at 17:00 (April-October). The tour route is a approx. 2.8-kilometer walk through the city, and it is designed to be accessible. Participants should wear appropriate clothing for the weather. The Stiftung Forum Recht will announce any weather-related changes on its website and via its social media channels.

The tour is free of charge. Registration is not required.
