"Let's Talk About Law" - The interactive discussion series

Current legal topics that concern us all—from tenancy law to freedom of speech, from environmental law to ongoing legislative reforms: The new monthly series from the Forum Recht Foundation fosters a lively dialogue between legal experts and the audience. Once a month in Karlsruhe or Leipzig, we meet with experts to discuss current topics related to law and the rule of law. Our guests engage with questions from the audience on an equal footing. „Let’s Talk About Law“ is an event for anyone who wants to experience law and the rule of law in a new way! In February, we’ll kick off this new format with two events at both locations.

We are very pleased that, for the Leipzig premiere of the series on February 19 the President of the Federal Administrative Court, Prof. Dr. Andreas Korbmacher will be our guest speaker. He will discuss the role of Germany’s highest administrative court in our daily lives and demonstrate that administrative law is anything but dry. The audience will also be invited to participate in the discussion. The evening will be moderated by Marie-Elisabeth Miersch, lawyer and research associate at the Forum Recht Foundation.
