"Quite urban!" A tour through Karlsruhe

What exactly does the Federal Court of Justice do? What was the story again with the Buback assassination and the RAF? How likely is it that a bicycle theft will be solved? And what does the law have to do with our everyday lives?

The free city tour "Recht stadtlich! (City of Law"" by Stiftung Forum Recht invites to discover the answers to these and many other questions.

Together, we’ll discover Karlsruhe’s quirks and unexpected stories, and learn about local dishes and fascinating legal cases. From the architecture of the Federal Supreme Court to trivia you can show off at your next pub quiz, „Recht stadtlich!“ has it all. Follow us on a journey through the rule of law and discover a whole new side of Karlsruhe.

The two-hour city tour is in German. It takes place every second Thursday of the month at 17:00 (April-October). The tour route is a approx. 2.8-kilometer walk through the city, and it is designed to be accessible. Participants should wear appropriate clothing for the weather. The Stiftung Forum Recht will announce any weather-related changes on its website and via its social media channels.

The tour is free of charge. Registration is not required.
