The mobile pop-up exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ by the Forum Recht Foundation is returning to Karlsruhe as part of its tour of Germany. Located on Schlossplatz, right next to the Federal Constitutional Court, the interactive exhibition invites visitors to think critically and get involved from May 6 to 25, 2026.
In Karlsruhe, the Forum Recht Foundation is presenting the pop-up exhibition as part of the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the Federal Constitutional Court. As a free event, the exhibition thus complements the program for the Open House that the Federal Constitutional Court is hosting on May 16, 2026. After stops in Weimar, Heidelberg, Mönchengladbach, Leipzig, Dresden, and Essen, among other cities, it is now on display in Karlsruhe for the second time for nearly three weeks.
Where do we encounter the law in our daily lives—and how does it influence our lives? Whether we’re renting an apartment, at work, on the road, or within our families: the law is everywhere. It guides and structures our daily lives together.
The Forum Recht Foundation addresses these everyday situations in its pop-up exhibition „Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ Complex legal topics are presented here in an accessible and interactive way. Visitors are expressly invited to participate: Using QR codes and a web app, they can record videos with their own smartphones and share their personal experiences on the new Participation platform the Forum Recht Foundation. As a result, the exhibition continues to grow over time—offering diverse perspectives on the role of law in our daily lives. Visitors also have the opportunity to explore the world of law in a playful way through quizzes and spinning cubes.
The traveling exhibition has been touring Germany since July 2025 and can be seen at train stations, shopping centers, and marketplaces—anywhere where the law and everyday life intersect.
„Law—The Rules of Everyday Life“ will be on display around the clock from May 6 to 25 at Schlossplatz in Karlsruhe. Admission to the exhibition is free.
