Film and discussion series “Law and Justice”
Award-winning films from a new perspective
Love, hate and the pursuit of justice are at the beginning of every exciting film story from Pasolini to Tarantino. Yet the idea of justice in everyday life is as personal and different as the standard for what we perceive as unjust. In their joint cinema and discussion series, the Stiftung Forum Recht and the Kinemathek Karlsruhe are exploring the boundaries between the utopia and reality of law and justice in film.
What do we mean by justice?
Who determines what is right?
And what does this have to do with our constitutional state?
We will address these and other questions with you and selected experts. Join us for a discussion on climate, punishment, sport and justice and discover with us the highlights of international film culture.
We look forward to an exciting series. Further information on the film and discussion series can be found on our current events page. You can order tickets online or by phone at the Kinemathek Karlsruhe!
