The Forum Recht Foundation invites you to an evening discussion as part of its after-work series in Karlsruhe: At the event on Wednesday, November 18, at 5:30 p.m., the director of the State Museum of Natural History, Karlsruhe; Prof. Dr. Martin Husemann<\/strong>, as a guest.<\/p>\n

In a conversation with Foundation Director Dr. Cord Br\u00fcgmann, the discussion centers on how museums and the future Forum Recht can shape social spaces. How are museums evolving from places of collecting and preservation into places of exchange and discourse? How can barriers be broken down, curiosity be sparked, and access be created for diverse groups of people?<\/p>\n

This also raises questions about how museums see themselves: Can they simply be places of wonder, joy, and connection\u2014or must they always fulfill a social mission? What role does participation play, and how can museums be places where democracy and diversity are lived out? And finally, the focus is very specifically on the future: What issues connect the two institutions? And where are there opportunities for collaboration?<\/p>\n

Afterward, there will be an opportunity to chat with one another over a drink.<\/p>\n

More about the format<\/h2>\n

Since 2025, the Forum Recht Foundation has been hosting regular evening discussions at its locations in Karlsruhe and Leipzig. The events feature fascinating guests from the legal community, cultural institutions, and the education sector. In a brief presentation, they join Director Dr. Cord Br\u00fcgmann in exploring a topic related to the work of the Forum Recht Foundation\u2014ranging from current issues in law and the rule of law to future trends and developments within the Forum Recht Foundation itself.<\/p>\n

Afterward, the focus will be on networking: Exchange ideas with one another and with team members from the Forum Recht Foundation\u2014about topics that concern us all, and about new, perhaps shared, ideas for the future! We would especially like to thank the\u00a0FORUM RECHT Support Association<\/a>\u00a0We'll be providing drinks and a small buffet.<\/p>\n
