For the opening weekend of our Study Tour<\/a> On the topic of \u201eInternational Law\u201c in Karlsruhe, we invite you to a screening of the film \u201eNuremberg\u201c at the Schauburg Film Theater in Karlsruhe on Sunday, October 18, at 1:30 p.m. All interested individuals are welcome\u2014regardless of whether they are participating in the study tour. The film tells the story of Douglas Kelley, a U.S. prison psychiatrist who is sent to Nuremberg at the start of the Nuremberg Trials against the principal war criminals. There, he is tasked with assessing the mental state of the most dangerous men of the fallen Third Reich, including Hermann G\u00f6ring, the former President of the Reichstag and Reich Marshal of the Greater German Reich\u2014one of the most powerful men after Adolf Hitler.<\/p>\n

Following the film, there will be Philipp Graebke<\/strong> a brief overview for the audience, and you\u2019ll have the opportunity to engage in conversation with the expert on international law. Graebke is a research associate at the Chair of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, International Criminal Law, and Public International Law at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, where he conducts research on the Nuremberg Trials.<\/p>\n
