As part of the exhibition \u201eOne Trial\u2014Four Languages,\u201c the Forum Recht Foundation is offering an accompanying discussion series. The exhibition focuses on a topic that was central to the Nuremberg Trials but is often overlooked: language and interpretation. From there, the discussion will turn to the present: How does multilingualism work in court today? Is \u201eunderstanding in court\u201c a given\u2014or is it still a challenge? The exhibition illustrates that the rule of law always depends, in part, on whether proceedings can be understood linguistically in the first place.<\/p>\n
