Where do we encounter the law in our daily lives? How does it shape our lives? And who has what kind of experiences with the law? Whether we\u2019re renting, working, driving, shopping, or spending time with family\u2014the law is all around us. With the interactive pop-up exhibition \u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life,\u201c the Forum Recht Foundation offers food for thought on these questions and invites visitors to get involved.<\/p>\n

\u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life\u201c will be on display around the clock every day from July 1 to August 3, 2025, at Karlsruhe Central Station. At the opening on July 1 at 11:30 a.m., Dr. Cord Br\u00fcgmann, Director of the Forum Recht Foundation, will welcome the attendees. Dr. Frank Mentrup, Mayor of Karlsruhe, and Martin B\u00fcchle, Head of Station Management (Mein Einkaufsbahnhof\/DB InfraGO AG), will deliver welcoming remarks, and Project Manager Charlotte Gro\u00dfmann will provide an introduction to the exhibition. Following this, the Forum Recht Foundation will present the accompanying program for the exhibition together with Ulrich Bunk, Vice President of the Karlsruhe Regional Court. Participants will receive a set of cards that they can use right there at the exhibition to strike up a conversation\u2014for example, with a lawyer, a judge, or people in other legal professions\u2014about the \u201crules of the game\u201d in everyday life.<\/p>\n

Admission to the opening and the exhibition is free. Visitors can use their own smartphones to record videos within the exhibition via a QR code and a web app, and share their personal experiences. Thanks to these contributions, the exhibition continues to evolve over the course of its run and highlights a wide variety of perspectives.<\/p>\n

The traveling exhibition will tour Germany starting in July 2025 and will be on display at train stations, shopping centers, and marketplaces\u2014anywhere where the law and everyday life intersect. After Karlsruhe, \u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life\u201c will make stops in Heidelberg, M\u00f6nchengladbach, Leipzig, and other cities.<\/p>\n
