In the year marking the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law, the podcast \u201eIn Good Shape? The Basic Law for Tomorrow\u201c explores the state of the Basic Law and its role in German society. How well-suited is our Constitution for the next 75 years?<\/strong> What threats does it face from both outside and within\u2014from the consequences of climate change to infiltration by far-right extremists? How can we protect it, but also shape it? And is it even possible to amend a constitution just like that?<\/p>\n

Anyone who's always wanted to see the Recording a Podcast<\/strong> Anyone who wants to join in and participate can do so at \u201eIn guter Verfassung?\u201c At the first live podcast event on April 25 and 26, 2024, four fascinating experts from the fields of law, academia, politics, and civil society will discuss the question \u201eCan a constitutional state democratically abolish itself?\u201c The audience is invited to participate in the discussions\u2014by asking questions, sharing their thoughts, and engaging with interactive elements such as polls. In a relaxed atmosphere, the conversations can continue even after the recordings are over.<\/p>\n

The podcast will go live just in time for the Constitution\u2019s anniversary in May 2024 and will be available on all podcast platforms and on the Forum Recht Foundation\u2019s website. The kickoff event on April 25 and 26, 2024, will be followed by two additional live podcast events in the summer.<\/p>\n

\u201eIn Good Shape? Tomorrow\u2019s Constitution\u201c is a ten-part live podcast from the podcast radio station detektor.fm and the Forum Recht Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n
