To mark the anniversary of the Basic Law, the Karlsruhe Schlosslichtspiele 2024 will focus on the topics of law, freedom and democracy under the motto \"Everbody counts\". With the \"Young Constitutional Talks\", the Stiftung Forum Recht is participating in this year's program in cooperation with the Stadtjugendausschuss e.V. and Karlsruhe Marketing und Event GmbH (KME). On August 10, 2024, young people between the ages of 14 and 27 will be able to discuss the topic of \"the future\" with prominent discussion partners (including from the Federal Constitutional Court) on a large stage on Karlsruhe's market square, specifically with regard to the constitution, the rule of law, democracy and coexistence.<\/p>\n
In preparation, the panelists will go through a project phase starting in April, in which they will creatively deal with questions about the future, get to know the topic of the rule of law and prepare for the discussion. The project kick-off will take place on April 8 at the premises of the Stiftung Forum Recht, where multipliers can find out about participating and get to know the topic and the task.<\/p>\n
