In his photo project \u201eSprawiedliwo\u015b\u0107 \u2013 Justice,\u201c Polish photographer Piotr W\u00f3jcik documents the resistance of Judges, as well as prosecutors and attorneys<\/strong> against the The Erosion of the Rule of Law in Poland<\/strong>. Through his portraits, he presents people who, because of their perseverance, faced the threat of reprisals from Poland\u2019s recently ousted right-wing conservative government. In the year marking the anniversary of the Basic Law, the exhibition demonstrates that the rule of law is not a given, either at home or abroad. After stops in Warsaw and The Hague, the international photo exhibition will now be on view for the first time in Germany at the Forum Recht Foundation in Karlsruhe from February 16 to April 7, 2024. Prof. Dr. Paulina Starski (Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg) will provide insights into the exhibition\u2019s themes with a short lecture.<\/p>\n

On February 15, 2024, photographer Piotr W\u00f3jcik and the Forum Recht Foundation invite you to the opening of the exhibition in Karlsruhe (Karlstra\u00dfe 45A, Karlsruhe). Immerse yourself in the photographic perspectives and engage in conversation with the photographer.<\/p>\n

The event, as well as the exhibition and the accompanying program, are free of charge.<\/p>\n

The exhibition SPRAWIEDLIWO\u015a\u0106 \u2013 GERECHTIGKEIT is a collaboration between the Forum Recht Foundation and Fundicja Picture Doc Warsaw.<\/p>\n
