In cooperation with the Kinemathek Karlsruhe, we\u2019re embarking on a cinematic exploration of the topic \u201eLAW AND JUSTICE: BETWEEN UTOPIA AND REALITY\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Join us and a select group of experts in a discussion on climate, punishment, sports, and justice, and discover the highlights of international film culture with us.<\/p>\n

\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eHow does money come into the world?\u201c A question that\u2019s only seemingly simple, as the 2020 documentary \u201eOeconomia\u201c shows. After all, how exactly does the monetary system work? Using an episodic narrative style, the film delves into the inner workings of the (monetary) economy, which often seems inaccessible and confusing. Moving beyond detached platitudes, it takes a close look at the rules of economic growth and its consequences.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re screening the film as part of our \u201eLaw and Justice\u201c film series in cooperation with the Kinemathek Karlsruhe. Can\u2019t make it on this date? No problem: On September 27, 2023, our discussion and film series continues with the film \u201eK\u00f6nig h\u00f6rt auf\u201c and some exciting guests!<\/p>\n
