German Unity Day, the exhibition \u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life\u201c by the Forum Recht Foundation is making a stop in Bremen as part of its tour of Germany. The interactive exhibition invites visitors to think along and participate on October 2 and 3.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Bremen<\/strong>. Where do we encounter the law in our everyday lives\u2014and how does it influence our lives? Whether when renting an apartment, at work, on the road, or within the family: the law is everywhere. It shapes and structures our daily interactions. With the exhibition \u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life,\u201c the Forum Recht Foundation, in cooperation with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justiz.bremen.de\/\">Senator for Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Bremen<\/a> the topic to places where people come together: cultural, educational, and judicial venues throughout Germany. On<strong> October 2 and 3<\/strong> The exhibition is now at the <strong>Weserterrassen Community Center<\/strong> On display in Bremen. The national celebrations for German Unity Day 2026 will take place in Bremen from October 2 to 4. Admission to the celebrations and the exhibition is free.<\/p><p><strong>Four Case Studies \u2013 Four Functions of the Law<\/strong><br \/>The exhibition focuses on four cases, each of which examines an everyday situation. Through concrete examples, it illustrates the functions that the law fulfills in our shared lives. The exhibition invites visitors to share their own experiences with the law and to discuss the role that rules play in society.<\/p><p><strong>Interactive and fun: Get involved!<\/strong><br \/>A special feature of the exhibition is its interactive elements. They provide a playful approach to complex topics and encourage active engagement with the law. A quiz invites visitors to test their knowledge of everyday legal issues, and in the spinning cube game, visitors resolve tricky conflict situations. The interactive formats encourage participation, discussion, and discovery. Through a web app, visitors can also share their own experiences with the law and become part of the exhibition themselves.<\/p><p>At the same time, there is an opportunity to engage in conversation with judges, for example, on topics such as legal harmony, the rule of law, and the importance of an independent judiciary.<\/p><p>The indoor exhibition has been touring Germany since April 2026 and can be seen in public institutions, schools, libraries, museums, and other venues\u2014anywhere where the law and everyday life intersect. It builds on the successful pop-up exhibition by the Forum Recht Foundation and adapts its approach to a flexible indoor format.<\/p><p>\u201eLaw\u2014The Rules of Everyday Life\u201c will be on view on October 2, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the B\u00fcrgerhaus Weserterrassen on Osterdeich in Bremen.
