To kick off the after-work series \u201eForum Recht im Dialog: Insights with Cord Br\u00fcgmann,\u201c Christiane Munsberg will be the guest speaker on June 18 at 5:30 p.m. Among other topics, the discussion will focus on literature and law as factors contributing to Leipzig\u2019s appeal as a location.<\/strong><\/p>

Leipzig. <\/strong>Starting in May 2025, the Forum Recht Foundation will host evening discussions several times a year at its locations in Karlsruhe and Leipzig. The events will feature fascinating guests from the legal profession, cultural institutions, and the education sector. In a keynote session\u2014in the form of a brief discussion\u2014they will join the foundation\u2019s director, Dr. Cord Br\u00fcgmann, to explore a topic related to the work of the Forum Recht Foundation: ranging from current issues in law and the rule of law to future-oriented topics and developments within the Forum Recht Foundation itself.<\/p>

Kickoff in Leipzig with Christiane Munsberg<\/strong><\/p>

As the cultural affairs officer at Bertelsmann SE, she has Christiane Munsberg<\/strong> Since 1992, she has helped shape the Leipzig Book Fair and, among other things, developed the literary authors\u201e forum \u201cDas Blaue Sofa\u201e in collaboration with ZDF, Deutschlandfunk Kultur, and 3sat. Today, she curates event series and panel discussions as part of the \u201cLeipzig liest\u201e reading festival, thereby continuing to actively shape the city\u2019s literary landscape. \u201cIn times of profound crises and upheaval, we need places that invite us to think, listen, and discuss together. Literary events create such opportunities: They promote participation, make diversity tangible, and open up spaces for lively dialogue. After all, democracy thrives on listening, tolerance, and respectful exchange,\u201d says Christiane Munsberg.<\/p>

Together with Cord Br\u00fcgmann, she will discuss the significance of cultural venues. They will also explore the connection between these venues and the rule of law, and shed light on the role of the Forum Recht Foundation in Leipzig\u2019s civic society. Following the discussion, the foundation invites all guests to join in a conversation over drinks.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
