These are some of the settings that young filmmakers<\/strong> for her screenplays for the 75.<\/strong> Anniversary of the Basic Law<\/strong> selected.<\/p>

As part of the Bavarian Children's & Youth Film Festival (BKJFF)<\/a><\/strong> took place in Passau, Lower Bavaria, from July 18 to 21, 2024, organized by the Forum Recht Foundation Workshop<\/strong> took place, which was almost 80 teenagers and young adults<\/strong> invited them to creatively adapt articles of the Basic Law into short films. All of the young people already had experience in film production. However, the short timeframe of just five hours to complete the assignment\u2014from concept and filming to the final edit\u2014was particularly challenging!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Each of the ten teams received Purses featuring a mini version of the Constitution<\/strong> as well as explanations of a selected article. The topics were assigned to the groups by lottery and were a surprise to everyone. The bags also contained surprise props\u2014butterfly wings for the right to free development of personality, for example, or space-age glasses and pink hats for the right to freedom of assembly.<\/p>

The selection of the films to be adapted Legal Texts<\/strong> The educational team, along with a research associate and a lawyer from the Forum Recht Foundation, provided the content briefing and explanations regarding the articles\u2019 content. And since the film festival\u2019s theme this time was \u201eHeroes\u201c<\/strong> ...the working groups created imaginative heroic characters in their Screenplays<\/strong> and had them engage in discussions that were sometimes absurd, sometimes thought-provoking, or metaphorical about the Articles of the Basic Law<\/strong> experience.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Since 1989, the BKJFF has provided a platform for young filmmakers up to age 26. The Bavarian Children\u2019s & Youth Film Festival is organized by the\u00a0JFF - Institute for Media Education<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0Bavarian Youth Association<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and other partners every two years at different locations. The festival serves as a forum for children\u2019s and youth film groups in Bavaria. It showcases the best films by children, teenagers, and young adults from the regional district festivals.\u00a0The film \u201eDas Grundgesetz\u201c is a project of the Forum Recht Foundation, the JFF \u2013 Institute for Media Education, and the Bavarian Youth Ring. It was produced as part of the festival\u2019s supporting program and was not entered in the competition. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>
