The Forum Recht Foundation invites you to a discussion with Inken Gallner, President of the Federal Labor Court, on February 12, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., on the topic \u201eLabor Law in Transition.\u201c. <\/strong><\/p>

Karlsruhe, February 4, 2025.<\/strong> On February 12 is Inken Gallner<\/strong> the first guest in the new series of talks \u201eLet\u2019s Talk About Recht\u201c <\/strong>the Forum Recht Foundation. The president of Germany's highest labor court will be speaking with Marie-Elisabeth Miersch<\/strong>, a research associate at the foundation, will provide insights into her day-to-day work at the Federal Labor Court in Erfurt. What current issues is the court dealing with? How are flexible work models, crises, and new technologies changing labor law?<\/p>

On the topic of \u201eLabor Law in Transition\u201c<\/strong> The first session of the Forum Recht Foundation\u2019s new discussion series will focus on a legal area that directly affects and concerns many people in their everyday lives: How is my workplace changing? What is the current state of pay equity between women and men? What rights apply to time tracking and overtime pay? When can I exercise my right to strike? The Audience<\/strong> is explicitly invited to participate in the conversation by asking questions and to engage in direct dialogue with the guest.<\/p>

Starting in February, the Forum Recht Foundation in Karlsruhe will be hosting a regular series of discussions through the end of the year \u201eLet\u2019s Talk About Recht\u201c <\/strong>. The guests are always Prominent Figures from Various Fields of Law<\/strong>, who talk about their day-to-day work and share their perspectives on a current legal issue. The topics selected for this series of discussions are closely tied to people\u2019s lives and are relevant to everyone: from labor law to tenancy law to freedom of speech.<\/p>

The discussion will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Stiftung Forum Recht in Karlsruhe (Karlstra\u00dfe 45A). Admission is free.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
