The aim is to provide participants with practical insights and in-depth knowledge<\/b> that help them explain the topics in their professional activities and clarify common misconceptions in their target groups. On Friday, 29 November 2024<\/strong>, the Stiftung Forum Recht is holding its first theme day training on the subject of the prison system at the Justizvollzugsanstalt D\u00fcsseldorf<\/strong>. Just one week later, on Friday, December 6, 2024<\/strong>, the foundation will host this theme day for interested parties in the Karlsruhe area at the Jusitzvollzugsanstalt Bruchsal<\/strong>.<\/p>

Designed as a free training event<\/strong>, the theme days provide well-founded access to topics such as legal penalties and the administration of criminal justice, which are often abbreviated in the media.<\/p>

With these two training days, the Stiftung Forum Recht givesparticipants the opportunity to look behind the walls of a prison and develop a differentiated perspective in discussion with experts.<\/p>

The day's programme begins with introductions by prison director Charlotte Narjes<\/strong> (JVA D\u00fcsseldorf) and prison director Thomas Weber<\/strong> (JVA Bruchsal) and includes guided tours of open prison facilities. In addition, Dr Thomas Galli<\/strong>, former head of the prisons in Zeithain and Torgau, will provide insights into his work experience during both training days. Galli is a lawyer and a public critic of the German prison system. In his current book \"Wie wir das Verbrechen besiegen k\u00f6nnen. Ideen f\u00fcr eine \u00dcberwindung der Strafe\"<\/strong> (2024), he discusses possible alternatives to imprisonment under criminal law<\/strong>.<\/p>

The new training programme of the Stiftung Forum Recht is designed as a series. The Foundation will offer further training courses for teachers, social workers and interested persons from other specialist areas on changing topics several times a year.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
