In her non-fiction book \u201e,\u201d published by dtv in 2021,\u201e<em>National Security During the Cold War: The Federal Prosecutor's Office Between Its Nazi Past, the *Spiegel* Affair, and the RAF<\/em>\u201cIn \u201c (ISBN 978-3-423-28264-2), Friedrich Kie\u00dfling and Christoph Safferling provide insight into the history of the Federal Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office between 1950 and 1974. The book sheds light on the highly topical question of how a democracy can protect the state without betraying its own values. The two authors will present the results of their research in Leipzig.<\/p><p>The event will be moderated by journalist and lawyer Annelie Kaufmann.
