Our program for Democracy Day 2023 in Leipzig and Karlsruhe <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t

Democracy and the rule of law\u2014both thrive on listening, on engaging in debate, and on finding compromises that make a free, just, and peaceful life possible. Exactly 75 years after the Parliamentary Council convened in 1948\u2014and presented the Basic Law just a few months later\u2014the Basic Law remains as relevant today as it was then.<\/p>

In September, therefore, the focus is on how people can make their voices heard and participate in our democracy based on the rule of law.<\/p>

Democracy Days in Leipzig and Karlsruhe <\/strong><\/p>

Together with our partners, we are offering a diverse program in September to mark Democracy Day. In Leipzig<\/strong> load the Gewandhaus Orchestra<\/strong> and the Saxon State Office<\/strong> for political education under the theme \u201eResponse<\/strong>\u201cfrom September 8 to 10, 2023, for Democracy Weekend. The Forum Recht Foundation will also be represented and is organizing the Workshop<\/strong> \"Denounced!<\/strong>\u201ctogether with the Spoken-word artist Jessy James LaFleur<\/strong>. On September 13 and 15<\/strong> The Days of Democracy at the TRIANGEL.Space in Karlsruhe<\/strong><\/a> a wide range of opportunities to experience democracy and have a say.
