„Recht stadtlich! A tour through Karlsruhe”
What does the Federal Court of Justice actually do? What was that about the Buback assassination and the RAF? Why do beehives appear in the German Civil Code? And what does the law have to do with our daily lives?
These and many other questions will be answered during the free city tour “Recht stadtlich! Eine Tour durch Karlsruhe” organized by the Stiftung Forum Recht. Together, you will explore Karlsruhe’s curiosities, learn about major and minor scandals in the fan-shaped city and its courts, as well as exciting legal cases. From the most progressive constitution to art in public space, “Recht stadtlich!” has it all.
Organized by the Forum Recht Foundation, the two-hour tour takes place every second Thursday of the month at 17:00. The tour is in German. Participants should enjoy the 2.8 kilometer walk and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. The route is designed to be barrier-free. The Forum Law Foundation will announce any weather-related changes on its website and social media channels.
Meeting point: Tourist Information am Marktplatz, Kaiserstraße 72-74, 76133 Karlsruhe
